Cute in many ways but a bit immature. Then I found out this was written for a made-for-tv disney movie. Well that explained some of that. It was interesting to see now these kids aren't as bad as they think. Naughty and mischievous sure but far from evil. But their mentors seem to be no help. Failures and those that have given up. It was rather amusing. There was a bit more depth and growth than expected. How Auradon was falling apart with the sidekicks baffled me. How self-centered had everyone gotten? They and Ben's girl could apparently give the Evil Queen & Cruella a run in selfishness.

The lack of info on the other parent drove me crazy! Not okay! But I think that was Disney's call so I can't blame the author but I can blame the story.
