The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

5.0

“What is a person, if not the marks they leave behind?”

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is an incredible journey, transpiring across decades, in the small moments - the private ones - and in the big moments, that spell out the history of the world - surviving them, and living in them. It is about craving freedom and the ability to be known. It is about a girl, and a boy, and the devil who answered their prayers, their desires, at a steep price. It is a game between wills, a struggle for power - gaining the winning hand - a fight to leave a mark on a world that is continuously forgetting the name of Addie LaRue. All except one.

“Three words, large enough to tip the world. I remember you.”
