This book was a good read. It's quite slow at first; it appears Larson is stretching the story to book-length, and he doesn't interpret meteorological science all that well. But midway through the book, as the storm approaches, the author hits his stride and the story is gripping. I'm a fan of Larson's books, but this one is not his very best. Still, it's worth reading.
