I have yet to find a Nicholas Sparks book or movie adaptation that I did not just adore, this one is more of the same. It was beautiful, meaningful, touching, and a moving story about two men that find the real meaning to life. Luke and Ira are the main characters; although Sophia is made a main character but I feel that her portion of the story was more like Ruth's part secondary to the men and what they were feeling. It was a little frustrating when it came to all for the switching but over all the twist and connection was fantastic, not how I saw it playing out at all. Overall, I LOVED the journey and can't wait to see how this one is adapted to the big screen.
