I flew through this book. I love that this picked up during events that occurred in book 1, Between the Pines, but from a different perspective. At the same time, it was done in a way that if you haven't read book one, you would still understand what was going on. This book was a good time, a quick read, and very enjoyable. I can't wait to see where Amber Palmer goes from here in this universe with Cleo's story.
