2.75 - I think there is definitely an audience for this book, and I know it's a good book, but I just didn't like it. It was a quick read (2 sittings) and the plot moves, but I kept waiting for something - anything - to happen to further character development. Because the book is from Yunjae's perspective, I found some of the characters' behavior bizarre and hard to understand. This book has interesting things to say abut emotions and the burden of feeling (or not feeling) them. It's a sweet adolescent coming-of-age story, but I don't like sweet stories with easy happy endings where everything gets tied up in a bow. I need conflict, so this one wasn't for me.
