I love Nicolas Sparks' writing. I fly right through them and love all of them so much. I of course love the movie adaption of this book as well.

SpoilerI loved the main character of Jamie and I always picture Mandy Moore when I think of her. Jamie was the classic popular boy who made fun of the unpopular kids. And boy Jamie was one of the unpopular kids since she was the minister's daughter and carried the bible with her everywhere. She was misunderstood because she stayed to herself. Landon asks Jamie to the homecoming dance, a difference between the book and movie. Jamie says she would as long as Jamie doesn't fall in love with her. He says that of course he wouldn't. Of course he is wrong.
