This is a charming spellbinding novel that once started is easily devoured. It’s a simple story of a girl that wants for nothing but a true love, a cottage and a baby but as she meets Death her life changes and through her journey she changes the lives of all those around her.
It’s predictable but it’s the mesmerising prose of the story that keeps you engaged, even knowing the ending.
