The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

5.0

Oh boy. If you’ve read this, I don’t even need to remind you of the half hour sob your surely had, and if you haven’t- please read it anyway the cry will give you all the life altering feels. I’m sorry in advance, please message me to vent. (It’s not a good book if you don’t cry- if you can’t tell, I’m a ridiculously emotional person) This was the most beautifully tragic romance I’ve read yet and still, it made me feel eternally better about life and death. Safer. I was eager to read Greek Mythology, and even though I’m a beginner to this concept, Miller effortlessly corporates so many mythology details in her captivating story. More than anything in life I want a love like this one. <3
