The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

4.0

I've been volunteering at the Arlington library for that passed eight months and this book was always on hold for someone. So I decided to see what it was all about. Ignoring the few times when he gets into deep financial details, this book lived up to its hype.

A 35-year old missing person's case is given to a journalist who's about to go to jail for libel by the missing gal's grandfather under the guise of his writing the old man's biography. The subterfuge was for good reason, too; in a family full of strong personalities and a few even proud Nazis, this is one family not to be messed with. But the journalist, with the help from a misunderstood young lady, who also happened to be an incredibly talented hacker, the mystery is unraveled.

The only trouble was, the main mystery ended with 70 or so pages left in the book. Those pages seemed tacked on to build suspense for his next book. Still, definitely good stuff.
