This book was SCANDALOUS for Ms. Austen damn!!! Premarital sex in Jane Austen?? conflicted on my feelings about Marianne and col. Brandon at the end…but overall enjoyed this sister tale. we saw Sense (Eleanor) and Sensibility (Marianne) switch places in the end which I thought was a clever way to wrap up the story—both sisters understand the other even more. Definitely not my favorite Austen, but still very much enjoyed and LOVED the class commentary for Eleanor’s love story.
