The Last Hope by Erin Hunter

5.0

I finally read the last book to the series I thought I finished 4 years ago. And it did not disappoint. I cannot rate this more highly. Now, it seems a little ridiculous to rate this among The Kite Runner and To Kill a Mockingbird, but I'll rate it as what it is- a kids' book. Seeing it for what it is, it is the To Kill a Mockingbird of kids' books.

And more than that, it is the finale of the kids' book series that was my childhood. It brought back so many memories and anyone reading this after 4 book arcs will appreciate it. Because if you have gotten to this point and stuck it out through 23 books, you need to read the 24th. I can't believe I went 4 years without this closure. It might be listed as a 'juvenile fiction', but the ending is so emotional. It is truly a powerful closure for any fan.
