Pretty, relaxing, and creepy. T Kinfisher is a very visual writer. I appreciated the growth in confidence of the female protagonist from cloistered to self-assured.
I appreciate the world-building that manages to feel cohesive without attempting to explain or strongly elucidate the setting. The overall writing style is very reminiscent of Kazuo Ishiguro.
Because I am giving very similar reviews to a few of T Kingfisher's books, this is the one with the Bone dog. love the bone dog.
