I was quite impressed with this book, not just because I love mermaids, but because of the interesting characters I was introduced to, and the beautifully told tale of a young girl trying to understand where she plays a role in a mermaid's mission.
When I was in 6th grade, I read it, got rid of it (I still don't know why), and I bought it again two years later. I still have it, and I can just say that there is no possibility of me EVER getting rid of it again.
This is a story for those who aren't fans of mermaids, fantasy, or suspense. It has so much more to it, and I think that if anyone wants a fun, but exciting, book, I'd recommend this.
