Atlantis Unleashed by Alyssa Day

4.0

Its been a while and yet i am still weak for these atlanteans, along with the strong woman who complete them. This one is probably my favorite so far, it just captured me straight away with both mcs and their various abilities.

I adore Justice he is such a complex fascinating character and i loved the two halfs of him as they come together. The inner conflict and competition, as he learned about his Nereid half and they settle into one with their love of Keely.

Of course her love of both sides of him and understanding is stunning, she stole my heart from the start with her struggles and strength. She is so much fun and a great balance for Justice, they compliment each other so well and i enjoyed their development so much.

Her power is incredible its useful and tragic in ways, when she touches as object she is able to see memories that are connected to it and the strong emotions involved. I loved this though as allowed to learn so much more about atlantis and history, along with the bond between her and Justice.

The romance and connection between these two is stunning from the start, their connection through the void and the fish carving. How they provide and support the other in a way noone else ever has, i loved seeing them build a relationship and family of their own by the end.

I just loved them both so much and they were so entertaining together, from the pancakes to the forest and the defending each other. They were such kindred spirits from the start and so glad they found each other.

Being honest though i got bored of some of the alternate povs, Alaric i find so angsty and boring here although scene with Quinn was sweet. Oh and didn't care for the vampire.. Im being biased though as i wanted to spend more time with Justice and/or Keely because they grabbed me more then the underlying plot developing.

The gem stones and such i couldn't have cared less about, although is interesting to see and will be focus in the rest. Im excited for Tiernan and Brennans book, as i enjoyed their short scenes but otherwise others didn't interest me much. Although will continue series, as adore the writing and world so far.

Overall i had a lot of fun reading this book and sped through it, has a very sweet ending for Justice, Keely and Eleni who is adorable. I shall look forward to reading more of the series xx
