An incredibly enjoyable story, built reasonably with a strong focus on character building and the budding romance in the rather grim dystopian world.
Ivy's gone through so much, poor thing, and she's having a terribly hard time trusting that the Ghost squad isn't going to be like every other alpha she's experienced. It's realistic being in her head, and overall easy to get immersed in the story.
The men are so incredibly soft with her. These big, brutish, equally traumatised men who take their anger out on the world do their absolute best to be kind and gentle with the distrust and skittish behaviour they get from Ivy.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and strongly recommend the author!
