I found this book to be absolutely stunning. I was initially nervous to read the book after seeing the TWs at the beginning, but I felt it was handled excellently and I appreciated the focus on recovery. The main characters were wonderful and flawed enough to be believable.
I especially loved the way the book handled the trans/nb representation. I personally felt like I knew who the “villain” was from the start, but I don’t think that detracted anything from the mystery or seeing the characters unravel it all.
