Love and Other Theories by Alexis Bass
3.0
I received Love & Other Theories in my latest giveaway winnings. I didn't really know what I was getting into but I did really love the cover. I grabbed it to take on a road trip with me.

The story was interested and fairly realistic. I do think that love and heartbreak is really tough to understand in high school and we all try to find a way to rationalize and protect ourselves from the hurt.
The cast of characters were fun, they were entertaining to read about and had unique situations that brought their characters to life.
Aubrey was an interesting main character. She has a strong personality but she definitely has a lot to learn. She tries to protect herself but it is hard to run from your feelings and emotions.
Gripes:
This book was kinda hard for me to read because I am not one who thinks that sleeping around is ok. These girls were having sex with everyone and anyone and not really giving a darn about it. They were also sleeping around with same people. If I had a daughter, I would not want her to read this book or act the way they did.
The book was all about sleeping with people and drinking. I really thought that it would get more in depth about really learning what feelings and emotions meant and that the rules they set up weren't really good rules.
