Rewriting the Stars by Claire Kingsley

5.0

I could probably write an entire essay on my thoughts and feelings about this book and series but I’m going to try and keep it somewhat brief. This series has been my absolute favorite small town romance series for the last few years and I had high hopes and expectations for what Levi’s story would be and how this series would wrap up. And Claire? She absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Levi and Annika got the love story they very much deserved. Levi as an uncle was so swoony and even more when he steps up to the plate with Annika’s child. Annika was so relatable, feeling like the peacemaker among her family as the youngest and the only girl. Their love story reminded me of Chase and Brynn, they knew what they had and it was more about getting everyone else on board. The feud continues to build throughout this book. Levi and Annika work to solve both the feud and the mystery of the Montgomery treasure before it’s too late. Every moment of this book was special and I read it entirely in one sitting because I could not put it down. I almost completely lost it when Gram gives out the last of the nicknames in this series. It was special, meaningful and I think the perfect ending to it all. This book was everything and the only reason I’m not completely broken is because I know the Haven series will be coming.

Claire, I can’t imagine the strength and perseverance it must have taken to finish this book through all that life threw at you this last year. It was beautiful, moving and honestly completely magical. I will be counting down the days until we return to Tilikum and find some women who will put up with these Haven boys. Thank you so much for the ARC!
