Shake the bottle and other stories is a concoction of stories written by Ashapurna Debi and translated from the Bengali by Arunava Sinha. It's a collection of short stories and is best read in bursts. Through her writing, Debi gives us a glance into the domestic life of the Indian woman. Each story is revolutionary in its own ways. I loved reading Chinnamasta.
