I have had this book for years and finally sat down to read it. As someone looking to get into the publishing industry it taught me a lot of the things publishers and editors look for in terms of publishable material so I could really get into the professional mindset. As a writer, I didn't learn anything I didn't already know. But I recommend this for anyone who is new to writing and is serious about getting things out there! And anyone wanting to learn about the inner workings of the mind of those who will read your work!
