The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James
3.0

3/3.5 stars!

I’ve read more addicting thrillers but this one was a decent family thriller with some paranormal atmosphere thrown into the mix.
Whenever I picked up the book, I was always entertained and the pacing was well done.

In my opinion, there wasn’t any shocking plot twists in The Book of Cold Cases but the writing and characters were well done. I loved all the mysteries and drama of the Greer family along with wondering if Beth Greer is the killer.

Beth Greer was a fascinating character in the book, and I loved all the layers to her.

My fondness for Shea Collins crept up on me like a serial killer in the night.
I didn’t have much of an opinion of her in the beginning but by the end, she shocked me with how much I liked her.
All the steps she took were gusty to figure out who the Lady Killer was, and I loved where her character was going at the end with her personal life.

I really enjoy books by Simone St. James and will be looking forward to her next twisty one!
