The Nakano Thrift Shop by Hiromi Kawakami
4.0
3.5
This is the definition of a slice of life book. While this book didn’t capture my attention quite as well as Strange Weather in Tokyo, it has that same dreamy-feel and meandering pace that makes these little snippets of every day life seem utterly enchanting.
Hitomi and Takeo weren’t nearly as dynamic as our duo in Strange Weather either. They were both a bit embarrassing. Mr Nakano and Masayo were excellent though and Mr Nakano’s escapades were quite entertaining!
