How the Dukes Stole Christmas
by Sarah MacLean, Joanna Shupe, Sophie Jordan, Tessa Dare
Meet me in Mayfair by Tessa Dare: cute novella, consistent with her style, the book is worth it for this novella Themes: Class Difference, Mistaken Identity / Enemies to Lovers, Support Network
The Duke of Christmas Present by Sarah MacLean: honestly, depressing. Eben, the Hero, isn't stingy and ruthless like Ebenezer Scrooge. He's just deeply depressed. I didn't like this story. It was just sad. Happy at the end, I guess, but otherwise sad and angsty. Themes: Friends-to-lovers, Jilted, Second Chance at Love
Heiress Alone by Sophie Jordan: did not read (stranded in the Highlands theme/description didn't appeal to me)
Christmas in Central Park by Joanna Shupe: loved it! Worth it for this novella too. Themes: Assumed/Mistaken Identity, Scandal, Ridiculous-Request, Women at Work, Humor, Americana/NYC
