Lust by Skyler Mason

5.0

This is my first Skyler Mason book but after reading this I’m going to have to go back and read her other books because this was soooo good.

My favorite thing about the entire book was how Mariana did not suddenly change her mind about her faith and Brandon did not try to convince her to become more religious. His love had no conditions which I really appreciated because I’ll admit I was a little worried the author was going to have Mariana change her mind and as someone who identifies as atheist/agnostic, I was preparing to be a bit disappointed but I was so wrong!

I thought the conversation about how Mariana feels her parents don’t accept her or love her as much as her sister because she isn’t religious, were very important and super realistic. I really liked how that plot was resolved and ended up being a happy ending too.
