Sinners Welcome: Poems by Mary Karr
4.0
An extended table to those of us who show up to their faith weary and wary, who pray sometimes middle finger lifted and still find comfort waiting there. Often overtly religious poetry feels too shallow, soft, or romantic to resonate with my Christian experience, but I thought the poems in this collection were raw and powerful.
