Bring Me Home by Annabeth Albert

4.0

After inheriting his aunt's house, Monroe puts a hold on his plans of moving to a big-city after retiring from the military.
He quickly agrees to let his best friends son move in to help with renovations as he leaves for a friends bachelor party where he meets a bearded guy, sharing the hottest kiss of his life.
Having spent a lot of time in the Don't Ask, Don't Tell military Monroe knows he can't tell his best friend what has happened and he needs to put an end to anything further happening.
Knox is a ray of sunshine and it's hard to remember the 18year age gap but not that they have different plans for their futures.

I was first introduced to Annabeth Albert through audiobooks borrowed from my library and it was so easy to fall in love with her characters - but let's be honest her narrators are amazing.
This is the first time that I have read her written work and I am pleased to say that I am not disappointed and I can't wait for more of the Safe Harbour Series.
