Year of the Tiger: An Activist's Life
by Alice Wong
emotional
funny
informative
reflective
medium-paced
This was an amazing book by disabled oracle Alice Wong. A must read especially for people without disabilities. Wong questions why most books published by disabled authors are memoirs - is it because they are only profitable when they put their traumas on display? So, this book is not solely a memoir, and it will make you reflect, laugh, and cry. Especially if you are Chinese-American like me.
