I was surprised by all the negative reviews. I thought this book was lovely when I first read it - went on to buying the whole series. It was great reading something not so serious - completely laid back, very funny. It's a refreshing break from the angsty teenager-y stuff that's extremely morbid and quite dull. I loved it, definitely recommend the series to anyone who is looking for some light reading.
