**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

Adele has returned home to be there when her father gets married. She left after what would be considered a difficult situation. So coming home has her feeling awkward. When she first met Pete, he was working for her father at his construction business. She was at the job site and bored so Pete took it upon himself to entertain her. Despite the age gap they developed a friendship, one that Adele thought was more than it was, since Pete sees her as a "kid". After one embarrassing moment witnessed by her dad, the only thing she could do was leave and stay gone for seven years. Coming back for her father's wedding she finds out she's staying at Pete's. Pete's now partner in her father's business and his best friend. Adele is all grown up and Pete knows he shouldn't act on something that has been brewing for years!

I loved the chemistry and angst this read provided. I read it in one sitting. It had a great fast pace that had me racing to the finish. I enjoying the flash back parts showing perspective from the past, which is when this chemistry started.
