Maigret and the Reluctant Witnesses by Georges Simenon

The first maigret book that I’ve read… Reading them out of order… That works well for me as an actual whodunnit. I mostly enjoy the series for the tone and the mood in the tiny bits of character, but I actually found the mystery here compelling. I might recommend this one to my mom. :-)
