Terry Goodkind should stick to fantasy. He gets his philosophy in my fantasy stories, and then beats the dead horse with it. Again. And again.
A good subtitle for this book would be "Richard is Always Right". He likes to soliloquize. For pages at a time. It was incredibly dry, and worse than the incessant back story telling. Richard talks to everyone, even Kahlan and Cara and Jennsen, like they are completely incapable of grasping the most simple of concepts. I didn't think there could be a book worse that Faith of the Fallen. I was staggeringly wrong.
