I enjoyed every leg of this disastrous journey! I felt just as claustrophobic and stressed as Mira did. The author did a fantastic job with the settings, characters, and tone. They painted a vivid picture of how one day went from bad to worse to horrific.

Over the few days I read, the story—or more specifically, the mystery—was always on my mind. It also didn't feel particularly YA which kept me reading.

The final showdown was great—so much paranoia! I felt for all of them and wouldn't know who to trust either! But the chapter/s following the action sequence were a bit lost on me. It didn't feel natural for the hitchhiker to suddenly turn into a completely nice man, unless I misunderstood who the additional character was. The final line didn't make sense or resonate with me either.
