BookTok hyped up this book so hard, and for what? The level of manipulation, controlling behavior, and physical and emotional abuse the the love interest exhibited towards the main character honestly made me feel ill.

I know some people love this book/series and I'm glad they like it but for people who have experienced abusive relationships or don't enjoy reading about grown men gaslighting an 18/19 year old girl, I advise STEER CLEAR of this series. HUGE CW for abuse/manipulation/gaslighting.
