It was ok. I liked the spicy books that explore different aspects of kinks, role plays and etc. But not all of Mona's self doubt and her reclusiveness sat right with me. The way that her anxiety and depression was depicted felt like a plot device rather than an aspect of her life that she struggled with. This is just my opinion, but as someone familiar with both I am not always self aware of them. And to be honest, I would have loved to have seen scenes of Mona and her therapist as they talked through Mona's self doubt and insecurities too. Her friends were supportive and great but she needed an outsider.
