Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception by Maggie Stiefvater

4.0

This is pretty good. I did not like Dee much though. She just rubbed me the wrong way. She wasn't horrible, or even that bad but she wasn't likable. There was a slightly stilted feel to her and her family came off as blurry. There were some really great characters, such as James and Luke were great. Una wasn't bad either. Even the side character, Sarah, was more accessible than Dee. I will most likely read the next book and if there is a third I'll read that as well. I really like Stiefvater's writing and her stories hold tons of geek moments. This book was not as amazing-brilliant as the Scorpio Races though.
