There are things lacking in this book - namely, important storylines that just get left blowing in the breeze. Two of them are pretty big - the murder of a doctor by someone we can only assume is an anti-abortion extremist, and the half-sister with a skinhead family.
However, I am left with so many questions at the end of this novel (these novels?), that it's a solid "would recommend" for me. It was recommended for those who like "satirical satire." I had no idea what that meant. I do now. Well sort of - I don't know that I could explain it, but I know that it is this book. I don't know that this is a book to read alone...I have so many ideas that need conversation. But yeah, read it.
