This took me longer to finish than it should have, but I loved its raw exploration of the human body - through motherhood, illness, life and love. It had interesting form and excellent writing. Her writing about falling pregnant not long after recovery from illness was particularly moving - and a reminder of our vulnerability when confronted with a healthcare system that can both support and fail us.
