3.5/5– i honestly don’t know what to rate this because the writing is so magical and i love jacks and evangeline (yall say she’s naive, i say she’s real!!! more representation for us hopeless romantic girls who have too much faith in fairytales & happy endings!!!), but for like the first 200 pages i was quite bored and unattached to any of the characters.
i just felt like it was lacking something???
it’s definitely a quick read and would probably get you out of a reading slump, but with that comes the unfortunate fact that it’s easy to digest, which doesn’t always mean a book isn’t good, but in this case it makes the story feel less than. however, when it was good, it was GOOD.
and like, “little fox” bitch you want to to kill myself. the archer and the fox!!!!
