I just love this series! I don't know how she gets me to fall harde for the next man every time, but she does it!
Levi Colson, "Havoc", has only cared for one girl his whole life; his high-school crush and best friend, Aimee Landry. Though they are from different sides of "the tracks" and were forbidden, they had a true connection. Deep down, they both knew it was love, but her father would disown her for being with a biker.
Levi enlisted in the Marines out of high school to make something of himself in hopes that he could return to Aimee, but she disappeared on him on his first tour and he never saw her again. That is, Until his Motocycle club rescued her from a Iron Sinners cage alongside Legacy's Old Lady Reagan.
Aimee is not the sweet girl she used to be. In fact, she's downright hostile. And when the Iron Sinners raid the Twisted Kings safe house in search of Aimee, it's clear there's more to her story.
She begrudgingly moves into the TK MC for her safety. Eventually her truth comes out. She didn't leave Levi, she and her father were abducted and held prisoner by the Iron Sinners. And Aimee suffered a great deal at their leader Titan's hands. She escaped once, after 11 months of nightmares, but they'd finally found her again just weeks before she was freed with Reagan.
Aimee has scars inside and out from her time with Titan, and she'll never be the same. But Levi still cares for her deeply, just as she is. And once she finally divulges her story, he's determined to make Titan pay.
I absolutely loved the flashbacks from Levi and Aimee's past. They were so young and happy and their friendship was so sweet and pure! It made their tragic circumstances all the more heartbreaking.
Levi is all in on this one woman, and he's never even kissed her. (Why is that so hot?) He does nothing but care for her and accept her exactly as she is. He meets her where she is, which is precisely what this scarred woman needs.
I could feel the tension between them, and Levi has me swooning with how surprisingly sweet he is. I had butterflies when they finally kissed! And, of course, when it progressed, it had me sweating! 🥵
And when Havoc comes out to play?? 🔥🔥🔥💀
