Whole thing felt meh for my tastes.
Too many random warrior princesses around in romantasy.
There’s apparently a huge plot about some magic we’ve barely seen, plus sketchy politics that should logically affect our MCs and motivate them to join together or split, but we don’t see it.
I would expect “fiend” to make aspects of this world and MMC stand out more from every other flavorless fae.
I’ve seen this a lot with spice-heavy books, but I’m not 1/3 the way and it’s only been faked interactions. That can be done well/humorously, but I’m not really invested in this ruse given that the relationship has yet to really evolve with their numerous interactions. (Aside from the one scene where he was hiding from her, that was a good one)
