CW: illness, animal cruelty, alcohol, child abuse, Romani slur, animal deaths, child death, grief, infidelity
A sad story, and I gained little from it, which is sad because I'm a huge Shakespeare fan, history lover, and a witch, so it should have been right up my alley. For one thing, I didn't like how it time jumps suddenly within chapters. I also didn't like or understand why the author avoided using his name.
