The Kind Worth Saving by Peter Swanson
3.0

3.5 stars for this second installment.

I read all three of this series in the month of June and I was excited for this second installment. The first book really did a great job of setting up the Henry/Lily relationship and though these books can be read as stand alones, they definitely function better as a series.

In this book, twisted teens turn into twisted adults, plotting gruesome crimes and evading capture for years. I loved seeing the history of the connections over the years. Henry pulling Lily back into the fold, needing her help and employing her 'evil' expertise was great.

This book is much more focused on Henry than Lily and I wish there was a little bit more of her in the book, as I really like her character. Henry's limerick writing was a little much as well, made him a character that was harder to root for. Overall though, I was hooked from the start and immediately moved onto the next book.
