There wasn’t a lot of depth or believability to this one; it felt more like a grab bag of favorite archetypes and tropes loosely glued together with the minimum possible amount of glue and storyline. I’m still not even sure what the main characters really saw in each other other beyond “cute butt.” I mean, they kept saying there was more to it, but they never really convincingly showed it.

The packing was also really off, with the meet cute happening abruptly in the first few pages, and the completely unearned HEE dropping out of thin air just dropping out of thin air in “deus ex machina” fashion.
