Will Paige Toon ever write a book that I don’t love? The answer is no, probably not, because honestly I fall in love with every character and location she writes.

I loved the whole storyline behind it, a writer moving to Cornwall to ghost write a dead author’s long awaited sequel for her fans. I hadn’t read anything like that before. It was emotional, it pulled on my heartstrings, it made me cry. It had everything I wanted in this book. I absolutely adored Bridget, I loved the idea behind her own novel that she was working on, how she put herself out there to all of the men she’d loved before. And Charlie, oh Charlie. You could feel the pain he was feeling from losing his wife so young, it was heartbreaking, especially that scene where you find more about her actual death. And April. April has my whole heart. What an absolute gorgeous little girl, I just kept thinking of my own daughter whenever I read about her, and it made me just want to squeeze her in for a cuddle, both my daughter and April.

And of course, Paige always writes the perfect locations, and now I want to go to Padstow
