This did not eat the way I wanted it to eat. 

 

The concept of bilabially accurate angel porn did a lot more for this novella than the actual storytelling and writing itself. 

 

The storytelling wasn’t compelling, nor were the characters particularly nuanced or engaging. It really was the concept that pulled this across the line for me. 

 

Prior to finding out the insane behaviour of the author, this was already a tentative 2 stars as I mostly just enjoyed the representation within the text — which in hindsight is deeply ironic. As a result, the author’s insane behaviour solidifies this review as a 1 star.
