The Pioneer Woman: Black Heels to Tractor Wheels: A Love Story
by Ree Drummond
I grabbed this as I was closing up the library before the 4th of July holiday, assuming it might make a nice beach read. I was right. I wasn't made aware of the Pioneer Woman until a few years ago when one of her cookbooks came out and I was working in Provo, UT. Sucker flew off the shelves! And the other night it was just sticking out of the biography shelves begging to be read. It's a pretty adorable rom-com kind of story, nothing too edge-of-your-seat. But dang, that Miss Ree is SMITTEN. It's so cute! I needed to read something so squishy and fluffy. I mean, I'm not heading out to Oklahoma to bag me a Marlboro Man cowboy, but it's certainly fun to read about anyway.
