This was a lot better than I thought it would be. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, given that Gone Girl is one of my favorite movies.
But this book is just so... sad. So many things could've been prevented. And it's really slow, too, so you really have to stick with the characters, and care for them, to figure out what happened.
Well done! Makes me curious about her other books.
