Jinx by Meg Cabot

Y’all this was a fever dream from my childhood. I read this as a challenge to myself back in the day: Read every book on this romance shelf in the library. That I did and boy oh boy, were there some gems.

A pastors daughter moves in with her wealthy cousin, that just so happens to be a “edgy bad girl”, because of some obsessive ex boyfriend. Everybody falls in love with her and for some reason ends with her being trapped in this blood drinking ritual because her cousin is jealous of her(???).

Honestly, the story is a bit hazy. All I can say that it was a whirlwind.
