I haven’t read such a fantasy book in such a long time. You can feel all of Rin’s emotions and can understand why she and many others make such questionable decisions. I love how past historical events are brought into this book showing all the good, bad, and the ugly parts of war. It’s heartbreaking but brings really good questions and conversations that can be seen today.
